Requesting Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account at any time.

To submit a request, please contact us through the contact information available on AlMehdi.org and include:

  • Registered email address
  • Registered phone number (if applicable)
  • A clear request to delete your account

For security purposes, we may ask you to verify your identity before processing your request.

What Will Be Deleted?

Once your request has been verified and approved, we will delete or anonymize personal information associated with your account, including, where applicable:

  • Profile information
  • Student account information
  • Parent or guardian information
  • Course enrollments
  • Learning history
  • Assignments and submissions
  • Messages stored within our platform
  • Device identifiers associated with your account

Information We May Retain

Certain information may be retained where required for:

  • Compliance with applicable laws
  • Financial and accounting obligations
  • Fraud prevention
  • Security investigations
  • Resolution of disputes
  • Enforcement of our Terms & Conditions

Any retained information will be securely stored and used only for these purposes.

Processing Time

We aim to process verified deletion requests within 30 days.

In some cases, additional time may be required if verification or legal obligations apply.

Consequences of Deleting Your Account

Deleting your account is permanent.

Once completed:

  • Your account cannot be recovered.
  • Access to courses and educational materials may be lost.
  • Learning progress and history may be permanently removed.
  • You may need to create a new account if you wish to use our services again.

Children’s Accounts

If the account belongs to a child, a parent or legal guardian may request deletion on the child’s behalf.

We may require verification of the parent or guardian’s identity before processing the request.

Mobile App Users

If you created your account using our Android or iOS application, you may still request deletion using the process described on this page.

Deleting the mobile application from your device does not automatically delete your account or personal information.
